Powder coating is a dry finishing process, using finely ground particles of pigment and resin that are generally electrostatically charged and sprayed onto electrically ground substrates. The charged powder particles adhere to the substrates and are held there until melted and fused into a smooth coating in a curing oven. Before coating, the substrates must be pretreated to remove organic and inorganic surface oils and residual oxidation.
Advantages of Powder Coating

· Environmentally Friendly
Powder coating does not contain any solvents
and virtually releases no VOC’s into the
atmosphere, resulting in   minimal air pollution.

· Hardness and Abrasion Resistance
Powder coating surfaces are resistant to
chipping, cracking, and peeling. Its hardness
and scratch resistance make powder coating
and excellent option for “high-touch” products
such as handrails, entrance doors, and balcony
  railings.
